Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
GrowthSpike AI ("we", "us") builds AI phone receptionists and follow-up automation for service businesses in the United States and Canada. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
It covers three groups of people:
- Website visitors who browse growthspikeai.com or send us an inquiry.
- Callers to our demo line, where business owners try our AI receptionist.
- Callers to businesses that use our service, whose calls our AI answers on that business's behalf.
1. Information we collect
When you contact us through the website
The strategy call form asks for your name, business name, email, industry, time zone, preferred call time, and optionally your phone number and a short message. We use this only to reply and arrange the call you asked for.
When you call our demo line or a business that uses our service
Calls are answered by an AI assistant. It tells callers it is an AI. During a call we may collect:
- The phone number you call from.
- What you tell the assistant, such as your name, callback number, the service you're interested in, and the date and time you'd like.
- An audio recording and a written transcript of the call, along with a short AI-generated summary.
- Basic call details such as the date, time and length of the call.
The assistant does not ask for, and is instructed not to accept, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, dates of birth or medical details. Please don't share them on a call. If you do, we are not responsible for information you volunteer that the assistant didn't ask for, and we'll delete it on request.
Information we don't collect
Our website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels. Fonts on our pages load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your browser's IP address when the page loads.
2. How we use information
- To answer the call or inquiry, book, move or cancel appointments, and pass messages to the right person.
- To follow up when you've asked us to, for example after requesting a callback about our services.
- To deliver our service to the businesses we work with, including call logs and notifications for their staff.
- To keep the service working well: fixing errors, checking quality and improving how the assistant handles calls.
- To meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
3. When we act for another business
When our AI answers calls for a business that uses our service, we handle caller information on that business's behalf and following its instructions. That business decides how the information is used, and its own privacy policy also applies. If you have a question about a call you made to one of those businesses, you can contact them directly or email us and we'll pass your request on.
Businesses using our service are responsible for giving their customers any notices and getting any consents the law requires, including consent to record calls and to receive automated calls or text messages.
For healthcare practices, our AI takes your name, number and reason for calling and hands off to the practice's staff. We ask callers not to share medical details with the assistant. Our service is not designed to store protected health information. We don't handle health information for a practice unless we have agreed in writing to do so, including any business associate agreement required by HIPAA.
Important: an AI is not a person
- Not for emergencies. Our assistant can't help in an emergency. If you have a medical or other emergency, hang up and call 911 (or your local emergency number).
- AI can make mistakes. It may mishear or misunderstand. Please confirm anything important, such as prices, appointment times or policies, directly with the business.
- No professional advice. The assistant doesn't give medical, legal, financial, tax or insurance advice, and nothing it says is a quote, an approval or a promise on the business's behalf.
4. Call recording
Calls handled by our AI may be recorded and transcribed so the business can follow up accurately and so we can check quality. Where a recording notice or consent is required by law, the assistant or the business provides it at the start of the call. If you don't want to be recorded, you can end the call and contact the business another way.
5. Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages from us or from a business using our service, we use your number only to send the messages you agreed to, such as appointment confirmations, reminders and replies to your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
6. Who helps us provide the service
We use trusted service providers to run our systems. They receive only the information needed to do their part, and only for that purpose.
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Vapi | Answers and processes phone calls with AI, including recordings and transcripts |
| AI model providers (such as ElevenLabs, Groq and Google Gemini) | Generate the assistant's voice and answers during a call |
| n8n, hosted on Railway | Runs the automations that book appointments and route messages |
| Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Gmail) | Appointment calendars, call logs and email |
| Slack | Internal notifications about calls and new inquiries |
| Notion | Our own records of business inquiries and clients |
| Web3Forms | Delivers website form submissions to our inbox |
| Netlify | Hosts this website |
Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We choose reputable providers, but we don't control their systems and aren't responsible for their independent practices. Some of these providers process information outside your country, including in the United States, so by using our website or calling our line you understand your information may be transferred and processed there.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it (for example, a court order), to protect the rights, property and safety of our users, our clients, the public or ourselves, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
7. Google user data
Our systems connect to Google Calendar and Google Sheets to check availability, book appointments and keep call logs. GrowthSpike AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use that data only to provide these features, never for advertising, and we don't let people read it except where needed for support, security or legal reasons.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Website inquiries are kept while we're in contact with you and for a reasonable time after. Call records for a business using our service are kept according to our agreement with that business, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
10. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you and give you a copy.
- Correct information that's wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop contacting you.
Email hello@growthspikeai.com. We'll respond within the time the law requires, usually 30 to 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep some information where the law requires or allows it, such as records we need for legal, tax or security reasons. If your request is about a call to a business using our service, we'll pass it to that business, since it decides how that information is used.
If you live in California, Canada or another place with specific privacy laws, you have the rights those laws give you, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
11. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We'll update the date at the top of this page and make significant changes clear here. Using our website or services after a change means the updated policy applies.
